Christmas On The Farm

The 4 Ways You Can Attend

The Christmas season is here! It has been a pretty challenging year so we are going to do something really special to end 2020 off on a high note. We are calling it ‘Christmas on the Farm!’ On December 6, 13, and 20 we will be having our Sunday Gatherings at Glenburn Farms in Vinton at 10am. This is a beautiful working farm just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is a former hay barn on the property that has been transformed into an amazing event space. This is where we will meet to pray, fellowship, and celebrate the birth of Christ together as a church family.

Glenburn Farms is an easy drive from anywhere in the Valley. The space we are meeting in is named Braeloch. It is large and open so it will be easy to practice social distancing. There is an outdoor patio for those who would like to sit outside and people can also participate from their vehicle. We will continue to provide our online live-stream.

Each family or group will be provided with chairs and a table. These will be spaced out for safety. Childcare is available for kids who are walking, in the 2 to 4-year- old range. Show up early to get them signed in. Older kids will participate in the worship service with their family. Face coverings are required for entering and moving around the facility. This is a food friendly space so feel free to bring your own coffee and snacks to enjoy while seated.

Belmont is partnering with David and Dawn Sandoval and The Least of These Ministry this Christmas to collect blankets, gloves, and thermals for those who are living outside in the cold without proper housing. We will have a large Christmas tree set up in our meeting space and everyone is encouraged to bring these items and place them under the tree one Sunday. This is a great opportunity to love on those who are less fortunate and to teach kids about the value of sharing what God has given us.

Our Gift To You!

At the end of our service on December 6 we are taking free, professional Christmas photographs for each individual or family. Still need a Christmas photo to share on your postcard or with family members? Did COVID keep you from getting those family pics that you wanted this year? Get dressed up and come ready to get your ‘Christmas on the Farm’ photo!

Let’s all be praying that God will use our Christmas on the Farm to bring some new people into a relationship with Jesus. Be sure to invite some neighbors and friends to join us and do your part by sharing this event on social media as well.

Thanks so much for continuing to follow Jesus during this season. We are honored to be a part of His church with you and we look forward to what God has for us in 2021. We are willing to go wherever He leads.
