For the months of July and August you can choose to join us in our courtyard for a fun outdoor service or you can continue to participate in our online service if that is the best decision for you. Both options are on Sunday mornings from 10am-11am.
For ‘Church Outside’ you can meet us at 825 Stewart Ave. SE Roanoke, VA 24013. For ‘Church Online’ you can click HERE. You can also watch on Facebook or YouTube. A service consists of a variety of things like music, teaching, and testimonies about what Jesus is doing in Roanoke and around the world.
What to Expect
Church Outside is a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on and a drink or snack to enjoy. Family units are able to sit together a proper distance away from others. Kids stay with parents. Make your way to our WELCOME tent to pick up a guest packet, grab a cold water, and scan the courtyard to pick out a nice shady spot to sit. (NOTE that our outdoor service will be canceled in the case of inclement weather.)
Church Online is also great entry point into the life of Belmont. You will hear the same testimonies and message as those meeting in person and you can even participate in the chat and engage with other attenders and our online hosts.
Make The Most Of Church Online
We want your online worship experience to be as meaningful as possible. Here are some ways to prepare:
- Get your heart ready by spending 15 minutes of quiet time in prayer, reading, or music just before service starts.
- Get the details ready sixty minutes in advance so you don’t get frustrated in the moment. Make sure your streaming device is connected, that you have good audio and have picked a comfortable location to watch from. If you have kids get them settled in ahead of time with an age-appropriate activity.
- Get involved! Log in ten minutes ahead of time to take advantage of our chat feature. Share how God is working in your life and tell us if anybody is watching with you. Take notes during the message. Stick around for a few minutes after and say goodbye to folks.
We look forward to worshiping with you this coming Sunday!
