Voices

Being able to hear from the Lord is a great gift and learning how to clearly distinguish that voice is invaluable.  Instead of going through life aimlessly we can have God’s wisdom to guide us. But sometimes his voice can get lost in the noise and busyness of our lives. In this five-part sermon series we will examine how to cut through the racket that this world sends our way and tune in to what God wants us to hear.

The Word Made Flesh

Christmas has a tendency to slip into simply some warm holiday cheer where we go through the motions of a cultural celebration with fun songs and hot cider and we add a familiar baby Jesus on as a Christian bonus. When we do that we settle for too little. We miss too many theological truths. We miss the real Jesus and what Christmas should bring to mind.

This Christmas, instead of zooming in on the details around the physical birth of Jesus we will zoom out and take a look at the Jesus as seen in chapter one of the book of John. The Jesus who is eternal. The Jesus who is Creator. The Jesus who is Light. The Jesus who is God. The Jesus who became flesh so that mankind could be saved.
