In Psalm 103, the Psalmist stirs up his own soul to bless and praise the Lord. He does this by
first stirring his mind to remember God’s goodness. In this study we want to bless the Lord at the soul level and not just at skin level. Let’s let him reawaken us to the worship of his name!
Praise and thanksgiving do not come naturally to us in our fallen condition. What comes to our
hearts and our lips with ease is complaining about what we don’t have and making excuses for our shortcomings. This happens because we forget who God is and what he has done for us.
