The King is Worthy
Although we all have given in to many types of temptations and done so often, there is One who has never given in. Jesus has never sinned. He has looked Evil in the face and never flinched. He trusted and obeyed the will of his Father and has made a way through the cross for you to be made righteous. The main idea of this passage is to demonstrate that Jesus [the New Adam/the True Son] is worthy, or qualified, to be the Holy King who could provide righteousness to the citizens of his Kingdom. This is the King was anointed/baptized by John the Baptist, filled with the Spirit, and affirmed by the Father. His baptism demonstrated how King Jesus would fulfill or accomplish all righteousness; through his death, burial, and resurrection.

A little child was born to insignificant parents, in an insignificant village in Israel and in an insignificant moment in the history of the Roman empire. BUT, that baby was the fulfilment of the prophecy made by Isaiah about 700 years prior to His birth
